Running late again is Amtrak Train No. 4, the eastbound "Southwest Chief", moving through CP 35 on Main Track 3 of the BNSF Emporia Sub, getting ready to cross over to Main Track 2. On the point is AMTK P42DC No. 161, painted in the Phase I paint scheme for Amtrak’s 50th Anniversary last year. Three private cars owned by Webb Rail are on the rear of this train, two Northern Pacific domes and a New York Central observation car.
On the right on Main Track 4 is BNSF train H-GALKCK1-14A waiting for its turn to enter BNSF’s Argentine Yard. In the background, BNSF train Z-LPKWSP9-15A can be seen approaching CP 39 on Main Track 2. 4/15/22.
